The flag Several groups and organizations have worked diligently the last several weeks to line many of Fayetteville-Lincoln County’s streets and highways with the American flags, a symbol of freedom and justice for almost 250 years. The flags will wave through Veterans Day. Local veteran volunteers, the Warrior Exhibit, and Fayetteville Public Utilities coordinate to mount these patriotic displays.
