Kelso, who retired in 1994 as chief of naval operations of the United States, talks with graduating seniors and guests following the baccalaureate services on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln County High School. Kelso was the guest speaker for the event. Graduation exercises will be conducted tomorrow evening at the high school.

On this day, those voices belonged to two sisters, Linda Williams and Brenda Roles, who came to share the story of their brother, Marine Corporal Bobby Williams Jr., a young man whose life was cut short in Vietnam, but whose impact continues to echo through generations.
Canning College to be held 3 days in June
U T TSU Extension Lincoln County Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) is offering the basics of canning classes from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on June 11, 16 and 23. Participants will learn research-based canning methods for preserving food.
