May 20

Haley Starr Travis, 27, Forest Ridge Lane, was charged with domestic assault. She was released on $2,500 bond. Deputy Caleb Slone was the arresting officer.

William Daniel Wells, 53, Benji Lane, was charged with theft of property $1,000 to $2,500. He was released on his own recognizance. Deputy Odin Aesir made the arrest.

John Edd Helton Jr., 60, 14 Hawks Point Lane, was charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on $500 bond. Patrolman Jasmine May was the arresting officer.

Toney Mark Pitts, 1100 Scott Road, Hazel Green, Alabama, was charged with a probation violation. He was released on $500 bond. Deputy Jeremy Miller made the arrest.

Mitchell Lee Bryson, 60, 400 block Shelbyville Highway, was charged with domestic assault. He was held on $5,000 bond. Patrolman Derek Jordan was the arresting officer.

Dakota Shane Jones, 33, Dentford Drive, was charged with attempted aggravated burglary, assault with physical contact, criminal trespassing and public intoxication. He was held on $10,500 bond. Deputy Odin Aesir made the arrest.

Robert Paul Lindstrom, 40, 400 block Desoto Street, was charged with use of an off-road vehicle on a highway. He was released on a citation. Patrolman Jasmine May was the arresting officer. Alvin Fontaine Hadley, 48, 1000 block West Market Street, was charged with possession of a weapon – convicted felony drug offense, possession of schedule II drugs: Cocaine .5 grams or greater, manufacturing, delivery, sale and possession of schedule II drugs and manufacturing, delivery, sale and possession of schedule VI drugs. He was released on his own recognizance. Deputy Ashton Twyman made the arrest.

Keith Robert Nagy, 40, 18 BNW Lane, Flintville, was charged with a probation violation. He was held for court. Deputy Jace LaFevers was the arresting officer.

Abdisalan Muse Ali, 36, 2500 block Massman Drive, Nashville, was charged with driving on a revoked license. He was held on $13,500 bond. Patrolman Sherrell Summers made the arrest.

Police received a report that a Fayetteville resident received a message from a fake Lincoln County Sheriff ’s Office Facebook page requesting a donation of $300 to support Sheriff Tull Malone’s campaign and if he donated an extra $100 he would become a premium member. The scammer stated that the man would receive $3,000 if he bought a prepaid Apple card. The Fayetteville man didn’t purchase a card.

May 18

Gregory Sly Chick, 33, Johnson School Road, was charged with domestic assault and vandalism up to $1,000. He was released on $3,000. Deputy Jeremy Miller made the arrest.

Chandler Ethan Overcast, 19, 100 block Gimlet Road, Mulberry, was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was released on a citation. Patrolman Ryan Cole was the arresting officer.

Donald Lee Mitchell, 48, 100 block Swallow Hill Lane, Hazel Green, Alabama, was charged with two counts of violating probation. He was released on $2,500 bond. Deputy Sam Smiley made the arrest.

Grace Loveday Bagby, 52, 100 block Brookfi eld Drive, Newport, was charged with a probation violation. She was held for court. Deputy Karly Cotton was the arresting officer.

Michael Anthony Garcia, 6 Hunters Ridge Drive, was charged with failing to send a child to school and resisting stop, arrest and search. He was released on $10,000 bond. Deputy Jace LaFevers made the arrest.

Eddie Lewis Taylor, 47, 8300 block Old Railroad Bed Road, Ardmore, Alabama, was charged with driving on a revoked license. He was held on $3,500 bond. K9 Officer Bailey Cowan was the arresting officer.

Police received a report that prescription medication was stolen from a Wood Drive residence. Patrolman Sherrell Summers was the reporting officer.

Jeremy Blake Hastings, 34, 600 block Lee Avenue, was charged with a probation violation. He was held for court. Deputy Jay Dempsey made the arrest.

Dustin Terrell Shelton, 31, Meadowbrook Drive, was charged with a violation of a no contact order. He was held for court. Sgt. Nathan Simmons was the arresting officer.

Police received a report that four dogs running loose went after a 66-year old Fayetteville woman walking her dog. A German shepherd attacked her dog and killed it, the report said. She managed to beat the dog with a metal walking stick to chase the shepherd away. According to the report, the owner of the dogs had previously been cited for dogs running at large. Patrolman Dalton Henderson was the reporting officer.

Matthew Thomas Settersten, 39, 2600 block Napa Valley Way, Columbia, was charged with reckless driving. He was released on a citation. Patrolman Jesse Smithey made the arrest.

Randall Keith Hancock, 39, 200 block Patrick Road, was charged with a probation violation. He was released on his own recognizance. Deputy Chris Mitchell was the arresting officer.

Harold Trey Douglas III, 23, 3400 block Anderson Road, Antioch, was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated assault on a first responder, three counts of assault on a first responder and resisting stop, arrest and search. He was held on $67,000 bond. Deputy Nathan Silavong made the arrest.

Police received a report of a stolen Nintendo switch from an Elmwood Circle resident. Patrolman Jesse Smithey was the reporting officer.
