May 6
Cody Michael Pike, 22, homeless, was charged with a probation violation. He was held for court. Deputy Cheyenne Gonzalez made the arrest.
Timothy Dwayne Mathis, 53, 200 block Flintville Road, Flintville, was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was released on a citation. State Trooper Wesley Thornton was the arresting officer.
Jeffery Dewayne King, 42, Plantation Lane, was charged with cruelty to animals. He was released on a citation. Sgt. David Houk made the arrest.
Christopher Frank George, 54, homeless, was charged with public intoxication. He was held on $1,000 bond. Patrolman Jesse Smithey was the arresting officer.
Malcolm Fredrick Wiley, 67, 500 Amana Drive, was charged with failure to appear. He was held for court. Sgt. Nathan Simmons made the arrest.
The sheriff’s office received a report of a house on Old Elkton Pike being struck by lightning, causing a fire. The fire was extinguished according to a report by Deputy Nathan Silavong.
Both mid-day and late evening at least six gunshots were heard by residents in the vicinity of Clay Avenue near West Campbell Street or Brogan Avenue, according to police reports. Sgt. Aaron Vick and Patrolman Derek Jordan were the reporting officers.
Police received a report of cruelty to animals, where a matted dog was found on the Wilson Parkway roadway, with a fresh wound, both ears infected, covered with fleas and malnourished. Animal Control took possession of the dog and the owner of the dog was contacted. Patrolman Dalton Henderson was the reporting officer.
May 5
Ashleigh Leann Williamson, 30, 600 block Howell Hill Road, Flintville, was charged with driving on a revoked license, three counts of failure to appear, possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia and unlawful removal/ alteration of a registration tag. She was held on $1,500 bond. Deputy Caleb Slone made the arrest.
Gordon Daniel Prock, 44, 60 block Myrick Road, Flintville, was charged with failure to appear and a probation violation. He was held for court. Deputy Austin Call was the arresting officer.
The sheriff’s office received a report of an attempted break in at a Shelbyville Highway residence. The door was broken in but an indoor dog came out and may have bitten the intruder. Deputy Karly Cotton was the reporting officer.

Shamario Burnette, 36, 400 block Cherry Street, was charged with three counts of violating probation. He was released on $2,500 bond. Deputy Matt Griffy made the arrest.
Billy Drew Lathem, 32, 70 block Railroad Avenue, Hayden, Alabama, was charged with driving on a suspended license. He was released on a citation. Patrolman Derek Jordan was the arresting officer.
Kayla Florence Frame, 31, Frame Farm Lane, Kelso, was charged with three counts of violating probation. She was held for court. K9 Officer Jacob Clark made the arrest.
The sheriff’s office received a report that a 1985 Chevrolet C10 vehicle was stolen from a parking lot of a business on Huntsville Highway, Park City. The vehicle was recovered that evening in Huntsville. Deputy Sam Smiley was the reporting officer.
May 3
Andrew Clayborn Vaughn, 39, 1300 West Washington Street, was charged with burglary other than habitation, theft up to $1,000 and vandalism up to $1,000. He was held on $15,000 bond. Detective J.T. Mastin made the arrest.
Brandi Yvette Dunman, 49, 30 block Emma May Drive, was charged with driving on a revoked license. She was released on a citation. Patrolman Dalton Henderson was the arresting officer.
Marcus Laddell Seay, 42, Eastgate Circle, was charged with driving on a revoked license. He was released on a citation. K9 Officer Bailey Cowan made the arrest.
Robert Jason Daniel, 51, 1000 block Highland Drive, was charged with driving on a revoked license. He was released on a citation. State Trooper Danny Bryant was the arresting officer.
The sheriff’s office received a report that the trunk of a vehicle was dented while parked at a residence on Hunters Ridge Drive. Deputy Chris Mitchell was the reporting officer.

William McArthur Howard Jr., 56, 1800 block South Cannon Boulevard, Shelbyville, was charged with driving on a revoked license and a probation violation. He was released on his own recognizance. Deputy Mark Gay made the arrest.
Icie Marie Vasquez, 48, 40 block Eastwood Drive, was charged with a probation violation. She was released on her own recognizance. Deputy Odin Aesir was the arresting officer.

Timothy Cole Barkley, 25, 900 block Center Grove Road, Somerville, Alabama, was charged with altering/ falsifying/forgery of a title or plate and theft up to $1,000. He was held on $4,500 bond. Deputy Jay Dempsey made the arrest.
Mark Stephen Hardy, 28, 1800 Parkview Drive, Lynn Haven, Florida, was charged with aggravated assault and two counts of theft of property $2,500 to less than $10,000. Deputy Jeremy Miller was the arresting officer.
The sheriff’s office received a report that scrap metal was stolen from a resident’s property on Bellview Road. Sgt. John Nichols was the reporting officer.
April 30
Police received a report of the theft of a street cruiser bike from a North Lincoln Avenue property. Patrolman Isaiah Poulsen was the reporting officer.
