Tull L. Malone seeks reelection sheriff

Tull L. Malone has announced his candidacy for reelection as sheriff of Lincoln County. Having served in this role since September 2024, Malone said he is committed to continuing the work of protecting the citizens of Lincoln County while strengthening community relationships and advancing public safety.
With over two decades of law en-forcement experience, Malone said he has dedicated his life to serving others. Beginning his career at the ground level, he said he has worked his way up through the ranks, “gaining valuable experience and insight into every aspect of the profession.” He said his hands-on approach and deep understanding of law enforcement operations have shaped his leadership as sheriff.
A lifelong resident of Lincoln County, Malone said he was born and raised in the community he now serves. He said his roots run deep, and his commitment to the people of this county is personal.
mailto:lscripps@elkvalleytimes.com He is married to his wife, Allison, and together they have two children, Kelsey and Jacob, as well as two grandchildren, Amaya and Ollie. He said family remains at the center of his values, and it is that same sense of care and responsibility that he brings to his role as sheriff.
Since taking office, Malone said he has focused on building a strong, responsive, and community- oriented Sheriff’s Office. He said his administration has emphasized accountability, efficiency, and transparency while ensuring that taxpayer resources are used wisely. Malone said he remains dedicated to “providing the highest level of service possible and maintaining the safety and security of every citizen.”
Malone said he believes effective law enforcement goes beyond responding to calls — it requires active engagement within the community. He said he has made outreach and community involvement a priority, working to build trust and partnerships that strengthen Lincoln County as a whole. He said his leadership reflects a commitment not only to enforcing the law but also to supporting programs and initiatives that improve quality of life for residents.
“I have an unwavering love for Lincoln County, its people, and everything it stands for,” Malone said. “Serving as your sheriff has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I am committed to continuing this work, ensuring that our county remains a safe place to live, work, and raise a family.”
As he seeks reelection, Malone said he pledges to continue prioritizing public safety, supporting his deputies and staff, and fostering strong relationships with the community. He said his experience, dedication, and proven leadership make him a steadfast advocate for the citizens of Lincoln County.
