Lady Falcon Softball shreds Shelbyville
Lincoln County softball had zero trouble in their road trip to Shelbyville last week. The Lady Falcons mercy ruled Shelbyville in three innings, 16-0.
Eight of Lincoln County’s nine starters recorded a hit in the game, with five having two hits. The offense as a whole displayed plate discipline with no strikeouts.
The Lady Falcons launched five long balls in the victory. Hana Corder and Milleigh Kate Byrd each recorded two and Maci Harris logged her first career dinger.
Kya Edwards took care of business in the pitcher’s circle, allowing just two base runners while striking out three in her three innings.
The win keeps Lincoln County an unbeaten 3-0 in district play. They enter a critical week with home district games against Shelbyville and Coffee County in line.
