Brenda Gail Counts, 74, of Elora, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, at Donalson Care Center. She was born on Dec. 19, 1950, daughter of the late Robert “Bob” Eugene and Velma Mae Shelton Marty. Mrs. Counts was raised in the Flintville Community and worked at Flintville Elementary School for 35 years until her retirement.

She is survived by her daughters, Angie (Randall) Stephens of Flintville, Tennessee, and Tammy (Jamey) Quick of Elora, Tennessee; grandchildren, Adrianna (Brett) Harris, Alisha (Jake) McNeal, Bailey (Ty) Durham and Colton Quick; great-grandchildren, Silas Stephens, Chip Harris, Mack McNeal, Eleanor Harris, Clay McNeal, Piper Durham, Lane McNeal, Miriam Harris and Boone McNeal; sisters, Melody Duffey of Ardmore and Robbie (Kim) Nunley of Meridianville; several nieces and nephews; and special lifelong friend, Lonnie Counts of Flintville, Tennessee.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Ian Bloxham officiating. Burial followed in Flintville Cemetery.
