Jack Copeland Scott, 92, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Bailey Manor. He was born Nov. 18, 1932, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, son of the late Clyde Wilson Scott and Sarah Ozell Jones Scott. Mr. Scott was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of New Hope Baptist Church, and retired as an engineer in space equipment manufacturing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Frances Scott, and his second wife, Margaret Collins Scott.

Mr. Scott is survived by his daughters, Terri (Gary) Tipps and Traci (Jeff) Owens; son, Tim (Nicole) Scott; step-daughters, Barbara (Troy) Stephens, Teresa Cothren, and Sherry (Gary) Moyers; grandchildren, Brianna Scott, Evan (Rebecca) Scott, and Lori (Caleb) Bates; and great-grandchildren, Graysha Bates, Scarlett Bates, Silas Scott, and Morgan Surgenor.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, April 4, 2025, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Cleo Moon officiating. Burial followed in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
