Bobby Jeans Obituary

Bobby Jeans, 86, of Kelso, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at his home. He was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on April 4, 1938, to the late Tillman and May Farris Jeans. Bob worked at Bradley Candy for five years, for Sunbeam Bakery for over 37 years, and was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, June Weir Jeans; brother, Joe Jeans; sisters-in-law, Addie Bea Horton and Lorene Jones; and brothers-in-law, Buddy Frogge, Dean Cash, Dexter Weir, Joe Weir, Lee Horton and Waylan Weir.

Survivors include one daughter, Candie (Bryan) McGee; one son, Bobby Dwight (Cheryl) Jeans; four grandchildren, Casey Jeans, Leona Jeans, Elisha Graves and Bradley McGee; six great-grandchildren, Tyler Gray, Alexia Gray, Carter Graves, McKinnley Jeans, Braeleigh Jeans and Landyn Jeans; two sisters, Katherine Frogge and Betty Jane Weir; two sisters-in-law, Carol Cash and Betty F. Weir; and two brothers-in-law, Gary Weir and Larry Jones.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Flintville Cemetery with the Rev. Chester Slayton officiating.
