Rocky Wayne Cannon, 65, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Feb. 7, 2025, at his residence.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Ley Jean and Brad Jean officiating. Burial followed in the Stewart Cemetery.

Rocky was born on April 27, 1959, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, to the late JB Cannon and JoAnn Street Cannon. He worked as a foreman with Jean’s Lawncare. “Pop” or “PawPaw” enjoyed spending time with his family camping, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his sons, Steven Wayne (Valerie) Cannon, and Billy Jack “BJ” Cannon; grandchildren, Blane Cannon, Olivia Jewel Cannon, Noah David Cannon, AnnaLeigh Kathryn Cannon, Bentlee Cannon, and Addison Cantrell; brother, Mark (Lyn) Cannon; niece, Logan (Cody) Buford; and nephew, Brayden Cannon. In addition to his parents, Rocky was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Marie Cannon.
