Mattie McPherson, 95, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away June 10, 2024, at her home.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Abernathy officiating.

Mattie was born on Dec. 30, 1928, in Moore County, Tennessee, to the late Arthur and Mary Lewis. She attended Northside Church of Christ and enjoyed flowers and talking to her friends who called her Momma.

Survivors include her son, Jerry McPherson of Fayetteville; daughter, Diane (Mike) Young of Fayetteville; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
