Len Osteen Obituary

Mr. Len Osteen, 66, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023, in Fayetteville.

Mr. Osteen was the son of the late William “Billy” and Frances Lovette Osteen. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Osteen Wolaver.

Len was a retired logistician, realtor and car salesman. He enjoyed life and family, and especially his grandchildren. Fishing, fish fries and music also gave him great joys in life. Len had great stories to tell and enjoyed telling jokes and bringing a smile to peoples’ faces.

Mr. Osteen is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rose Osteen, Fayetteville, Tennessee; children, Jenna Osteen (Kevin) Ratliff, Franklin, Tennessee, Tom (Heather) Arnold, Murfreesboro, Tennessee; sisters, Judy Osteen (Johnny) Beard, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Betsy Osteen (Brian) Walden, Elora, Tennessee; grandchildren, Isaiah Arnold, Ava Arnold, Zoey Arnold, Grayson Arnold, Emmie Arnold, Neyland Ratliff, River Ratliff; nieces and nephews, Kelly (Mark) Beach, James Beard, and Anastasia Walden.

Family members will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023, at Lawrence Funeral Home. A celebration of Len’s life will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.
