Valeria Simms Cuzzort, 87, of Scottsboro, Alabama, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Highlands Medical Center.

She was born on July 2, 1935, in Lincoln County, Tennessee.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 3, 2023, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Hank Crim officiating. Burial followed in Rose Hill Cemetery.
