Donald Bailey Eakin, 82, of Petersburg, Tennessee, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Lynchburg Nursing Center in Lynchburg, Tennessee.

A private burial was held at Old Orchard Cemetery in Petersburg.

Donald was born Nov. 25, 1940, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, to the late Joseph D Eakin, Sr. and Marjorie Bailey Eakin of Petersburg.

He is survived by his nephew and guardian, Robert D. Salyer. In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his six siblings.
