Addie Ruth Golden, 93,of Lynchburg, Tennessee, passed this life Friday, March 10, 2023, at Covenant Manor of Fayetteville.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Lynchburg Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Family and friends met at Kelso Cemetery for a graveside service following the funeral.

Mrs. Golden, a native of Lincoln County, was the daughter of the late James Marcus and Frances Barnes Tucker. Known to most as “Granny Ruth,” Addie loved Tims Ford Lake and enjoyed many lake activities. She loved being around family and friends. She was everyone’s best friend and for more than 20 years was the pianist and organist at Kelso Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Golden and brother, James Marlin Tucker. She is survived by sons, Neal (Martha) Golden and Stan (Lori) Golden both of Fayetteville; sister, Carolyn Hobbs of Fayetteville; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
