Sponsors needed for 4-H Clays for the Clover event
More than 15,680 youth from across the state participate in the Tennessee 4-H sports program. Of those, 20 earned the right to participate in a oncein- a-lifetime opportunity by competing at the National 4-H Shooting Sports Championship in Grand Island, Nebraska. The youth will represent the Volunteer state in disciplines such as air rifle, recurve archery, compound archery, shotgun and smallbore rifle. The combined cost for Tennessee 4-H’ers to attend this event is approximately $40,000.
To support the 4-H members and their families, Tennessee 4-H Shooting Sports is rolling out its inaugural Clays for the Clover sporting clays tournament on April 2 at Crossville Shooting Sports Park. All partners for this event will receive year-long recognition at the Tennessee 4-H Shooting Sports events.
Four Lincoln County 4-H members will be participating in the National 4-H Shooting Sports competition in June to be held in Grand Island. They are Jackson Elliott, competing in small bore; Alexa Tonetti, competing in compound archery; Makai Traylor, competing in recurve archery; and Hayden Waid, competing in recurve archery.
Clays for the Clover needs teams to attend the event and sponsors to support the Tennessee 4-H Shooting Program to help offset costs for all of the shooters across Tennessee. All proceeds will benefi t the youth competing. Sponsors are needed for the June 2026 4-H Clays for the Clover event.
