Ben Brown indicted by Lincoln County grand jury

Benjamin “Ben” Aaron Brown was indicted on Tuesday, March 24, by the Lincoln County grand jury, according to District Attorney Rob Carter with the 17th Judicial District in Tennessee.
According to Carter, Brown has a total of four cases that were indicted.
Carter said the first count of the first case is for one count of theft of more than $250,000, which is a Class A felony. The second count is for financial exploitation of an elderly adult, according to Carter.

The fourth case is also one count of theft or more than $60,000 and one count is for financial exploitation of an elderly adult, Carter said.
“There is no court date set yet because he is being held in another county (Wilson County) on other charges, and Lincoln County will have a hold on him,” Carter said. “A $300,000 bond was set in Lincoln County.”
Carter said three of the cases were handled or investigated by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and the fourth case was investigated by the Fayetteville Police Department.
