a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Somerville, Alabama, on May 1, 2026.

passed away on May 4, 2026, following an overwhelming severe complication of her valiant heroic fight against cancer of the pancreas. Her death leaves a deep hole in the hearts of her family, her children and especially her loving partner and friend Dr. Mike Ashby.

Brown; her brother, Tony Ray Taylor; and her sister, Callie Taylor. Her legacy continues through her granddaughter, Becky Mearse, and her four greatgrandchildren, Whilloh Saylor, Muhhammad Saylor, Creole Davenport, and Gabriel Saylor, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Bonnie Lorene Davis, 85, of Petersburg, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Lynchburg Nursing Center. She was born in Bedford County, Tennessee, on July 18, 1940, to the late Coy D. and Mary K. Warren Powell. She was a member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ.
