Billy Joe Allen Obituary

Billy Joe Allen, 75, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026. He was born June 21, 1950, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, son of the late Arthur and Wilma Simmons Allen. He was a brick mason who loved fishing, gardening, barbecuing, and playing guitar and music. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Bobbie Stevenson; and brother, Roger Allen.

Billy is survived by his wife, Hilda Richardson Allen; daughters, Jennie (Jamie) Dunivan, Kerri Smith, Angela (Dean) Kracke and Tina (Howie) Burrow; son, Barry Joe (Karmen) Allen; grandchildren, Jessica (Aron) Worley, Dillon (Sydney) Dunivan, Colton (Brandy) Smith, Chad (Blake) Rogers, Chase (Anne Marie) Rogers, Matt (Bailey) Kracke, BJ (Jessica) Allen, Chandler Burrow and Courtney Burrow; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; stepdaughter, Anita (Jerry) Hill, stepsons, Doug Richardson, Billy (Missy) Richardson and Timmy (Lea) Richardson; eight step-grandchildren; sisters, Laura Thorpe and Kay (Don) Holder; and brothers, Charles (Debbie) Allen and Dennis (Judy) Allen.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Mayo officiating. Burial followed in Wright’s Cemetery.
