Annie Pearl Gault Thomas Obituary
Annie Pearl Gault Thomas, 91, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at her home. She was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on Sept. 28, 1933, to the late Albert and Mabel Bates Gault. She was a resident of Chestnut Ridge for many years and was a devoted member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. She found joy in gardening, listening to Gospel music, and spending time with her family and friends. She previously worked as a substitute teacher and teacher’s aide for skills development students in Lincoln County.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Harold Thomas; daughter, Doris Dodd; sisters, Lucille Cashion, Peggy Shaw, and Marion Gault; brothers, John Gault, Loyd Gault, Melvin Gault, Philip Gault, and Marvin Gault.
Survivors include her sons, Loyd Thomas of Shelbyville and Mike (Carolyn) Thomas of Petersburg; daughter, Judy Wiser of Randolph, Vermont; sisters, Kay Naron, Brenda Bradford, and Joyce Taylor; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. Burial followed in Melson Cemetery.
