Phillip Glenn Spurlock, 92, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away Feb. 19, 2025, at Elk River Health and Nursing Center in Fayetteville. 

A graveside service was held on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Bro. Eric Lones officiating.

Mr. Spurlock was born July 15, 1932, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, to the late Fred and Allie Mills Spurlock. He retired from Elk Yarn Mill after more than 40 years of service. Glenn enjoyed history of Fayetteville and sharing that history with family and friends.

Survivors include his stepdaughters, Debbie (Dale) Winsett and Tammy Stovall (Tony Robinson) both of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Carrie (Eric) Lones, Kevin (Natalie) Winsett; nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Mr. Spurlock was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Tipps Spurlock; and his siblings and their spouses, Dorothy (Bernard) Gray, Belle (Edward) Gray, Wilma (John Wilson) Bedwell, Betty (Blakeley) Tipps, Vernon (Katherine) Spurlock, and Jackie Neal Spurlock.
