Betty Jo Massey, born on Dec. 7, 1930, passed peacefully in her sleep at home on Dec. 29, 2024. She is daughter of the late Will and Gladys Groce, and the sister of Benny and Jerry Groce, the late Evelyn Warden, and the late Billy Groce.

She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Dennis Massey; her two children, Billy Massey (wife, Kathy) and Melissa Sullivan (late husband, Chris); grandchildren, Brian Massey, Erin Everitt, Lauren Fuchs, Mary Claire Ortiz, and Katie Wening, Chris and Casey Sullivan; and great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Caitlyn Massey; William, Eleanor, and Mary Claire Everitt; Massey Grace, Annaliese, and Ruby Fuchs; Mateo and Micah Ortiz; Owen and Logan Wening; Dylan, Ashton, Justin and Whitney Sullivan; and Travis and Abbie Minor.

Graveside services was held Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Ronnie Thomas officiating.
