Dennis Wilson Massey, born on March 3, 1930, passed peacefully at home in his sleep on Jan. 1, 2025. He is the son of the late P. D. Massey and Louise Solomon Massey.

He was married to the late Betty Jo Groce Massey for 73 wonderful years and passed only two days after her. He is survived by their two children, Billy Massey (wife, Kathy) and Melissa Massey Sullivan (late husband, Chris), and his brother, Don Massey.

His grandchildren are Brian Massey, Erin Everitt, Lauren Fuchs, Mary Claire Ortiz, and Katie Wening, Chris and Casey Sullivan.

His great-grandchildren are McKenzie and Caitlyn Massey; William, Eleanor, and Mary Claire Everitt; Massey Grace, Annaliese, and Ruby Fuchs; Mateo and Micah Ortiz; Owen and Logan Wening; Dylan, Ashton, Justin and Whitney Sullivan; and Travis and Abbie Minor.

Graveside services were held Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Ronnie Thomas officiating.
