John Bruce Cunningham of Kelso, Tennessee, passed from this life on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, at his residence in Kelso. He is the son of the late Ernest and Retha Carlton Cunningham.

He was a high school graduate and is married to Mary Hall Cunningham of Kelso, Tennessee and she survives him.

Other survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Guthrie of Huntsville, Alabama, and Joani Edens of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and one grandchild, Rainer Bruce Guthrie.

The family has chosen cremation, and no services are being planned at this time.
