Wesley George Mitchell, 97, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Donalson Care Center.

Mr. Mitchell has lived in the Lincoln County Community most of his life.  He was a World War II Veteran. Retired from NiSource Electric and Gas in South Bend, Indiana. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and farming.

Mr. Mitchell is preceded in death by his parents, Grady Mitchell and Esther George Mitchell; his sister Glendon Stasaski; brothers, Billie Dean Mitchell and James Mitchell; and his first wife, Dorothy Maddox Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife, Janie Mullins Mitchell; stepson, James Mullins (Carman); and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A chapel service was held Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home. Burial followed at Blanche Cemetery with Bro. Derrick Moose officiating.
