Guy Shull Patrick Obituary

In loving memory of Guy Shull Patrick, a devoted cattleman and farmer whose faith in Jesus Christ was the guiding light of his life, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital in Lebanon, Tennessee.

Guy was born on March 2, 1957, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, to the late Charles L. Patrick and Mary Blanche Shull. He was a 1975 graduate of Central High School.

To his family, Guy was a devoted husband for over 40 years. He is a loving father to his three beloved daughters, sons-in-laws, and grandchildren.

His unwavering love and support formed the foundation of our lives, nurturing them with care and guiding them with his gentle strength. Beyond his immediate family, Guy was a beacon of light to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His genuine interest in the well-being of others and his willingness to lend a helping hand endeared him to all who knew him. As a third-generation cattleman of Patrick Farms, Guy was deeply passionate about his work, dedicating himself wholeheartedly to the care of his herd. His commitment to his craft was matched only by his warmth and kindness towards others. Whether he was tending to his herd or offering a listening ear to those in need, Guy embodied the true spirit of compassion and generosity. In Guy’s legacy, we find inspiration to carry on his kindness, resilience, love of animals, and land.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Belinda Smith Patrick; daughters, Maghan (Chase) Cowley, Mollee (Jake) Berzett, and Macey (Mick) Hill; grandchildren, Grady Berzett, and Charlee Berzett; sister, Ruth (Eddie) Sims; sisters-in-law, Patty Patrick, and Wanda (Rocky) Locker; brother-in-law, Clifford Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
