Cynthia Bevels King Obituary
Cynthia Bevels King, 64, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family after a long, hard battle with cancer. She was born and raised in Fayetteville and called Harms her home. Cynthia was a beloved wife and mother. She cared deeply for her family and neighbors and was always the first to offer help. Cynthia had a fulfilling, successful career as a budget analyst for 38 years at AMCOM in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. She was a faithful member of Harms Methodist Church.
Cynthia is survived by her husband of 36 years, Chris King; her daughters Allison (Dominick) Averso and Abby (Michael) Broyles; and her fur children, Heidi, Tyson, and Walter.
She was predeceased by her mother, Nancy Bradford Bevels, and father, Charles Bevels. Both of her parents were natives of Fayetteville, Tennessee.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb.29, 2024, in the chapel of Gallant–Riverview Funeral Home with Keith Couch officiating. Burial followed in Lebanon Cemetery.
