Thomas Harold Quick, 78, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at St. Thomas West in Nashville, Tennessee.

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial followed in Barnes Cemetery.

Harold was born Jan. 10, 1945, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, to the late Thomas Henry and Helen Elizabeth McCollum Quick. He retired from Boeing after a lengthy career in IT Support Systems. Harold was a member of the Elks Lodge and especially enjoyed their charitable work in the community such as making food baskets and deliveries. He loved the Lord and his church family at Fayetteville Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was sure of his seat in Heaven. A friend to everyone, Harold was a loving husband, amazing father and a dearly loved grandfather.

Survivors include his daughter, Tiffany Carol (Shea) Quick Curry; son, Harold “Tab” (Lori) Quick; grandchildren, Shelby Nicole (Dustin) Shelton, Dr. Cailey Arin (fiancé River Holley) Curry, Seth Hunter Quick, Kenzie Hannah Curry; great-grandchildren, Abby Grace Shelton, Ella Kate Shelton, Sadie Wrae Shelton, Sailor Paige Shelton, Wren Carson Quick; sister, Dean Slayton; brother, Glenn (Belinda) Quick; sister-in-law, Cathy Swing Brown; brothers-in-law, James Strope, and Steve Jacobs; bonus brother, Wayne (Evelyn) Jeans; and his beloved yorkie, Yanni. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 55 years, Angeline Carol Swing Quick; sisters, Jean Quick Strope, Patsy Quick Adkins, and Patricia Ann Quick Jacobs; great-grandson, Caelan Reign Quick; and brother-in-law, Jim Brown.
