Falcon Baseball sweeps Warren County

Lincoln County baseball improved their win streak to six last week. The Falcons did so at the expense of Warren County and Tullahoma.

The week started with a 7-2 win at home over district foe Warren County, a game that saw sophomore Auggie Lynch break out of a slump with two homeruns.

The next night, Lincoln County completed the series sweep of Warren County, 10-3. The Falcons put up 13 hits as a team, highlighted by a long ball from Colton Tate.

Lincoln County returned home two nights later to shutout Tullahoma, 6-0. The Falcons got a six-inning start from sophomore Marshall Smith and extended their homerun streak to five games, this time thanks to Rhett Persell.

Lincoln County wraps up the regular season this week. It includes a pivotal district series with Coffee County.
