Letter to the Editor

Thank you from a new nonprofit

Dear Editor,

As a new nonprofit here in Lincoln County, it is vital that we at Neighbors Helping Each Other are visible to the community so they can learn what we do and that we are available. We were able to do that Saturday at the Slawburger Festival thanks to the graciousness of Ed Carter and C&S Plastics, who sponsored our Closetto- the-Pin putting contest, along with Whiskey Creek Grille, Advance Auto Parts, Tractor Supply Company, The Flower House and Landers-McClarty Toyota — all whom donated prizes to the top-5 players.

Their generosity is helping folks here find out that they can call 931625-0139 whenever they need help from a Neighbor, such as a jumpstart or storm cleanup or a ride to and from the doctor (local or out of town). And, like most favors among friends and neighbors, it is free.

Sincerely, Jim Allred Neighbors Helping Each Other Fayetteville
