Edwin Ray Landman

Edwin Ray Landman went home to be with his heavenly father on March 25, 2026.

Ray was born in Huntsville, Alabama, on July 8, 1944, to Raymond and Maye Cagle Landman. He retired from U.S. Army Missile Command as a civilian employee with 35 years of service and was the co-owner of Magnolia Mall Antiques and Gifts for 20 years. He was a graduate of Buckhorn High School, class of 1962.

He was a faithful member of Fayettevillle First United Methodist Church. He volunteered at Good Samaritan and Hands of Mercy packing Bags of Blessings. He was a member of Fayetteville Lions Club for over 25 years. He loved God, golfing, traveling and spending quality time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Maye Landman of New Market, Alabama.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 40 years, Hope Landman; daughters, Deanna Christopher and Kimberly Wermuth (Sean); son, Gregory Hanners (Pamela); brother, Mike Landman (Kathy); six grandchildren, Jessie Babcock (Ben), Cassie Christopher (Joey Curtis), Carly Jones (James), Austin Hicks, Taylor Hicks (Jess) and Kyle Hanners; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tommy Vann and the Rev. Tommy Ward officiating. Burial followed in Concord Cemetery.
