April’s First Saturday gets underway at 10 a.m. Saturday on the downtown square

We’re not joking when we say you won’t want to miss the start of First Saturdays as it gets underway April 4 around the inside perimeter of the downtown square and beyond.

More than 50 vendors will be set up from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., ranging from food trucks, nonprofit organizations, handmade crafts, local produce, baked goods, treats for your dogs and so much more. Several vendors are returning from last year’s lineup.

Sponsored by Fayetteville Main Street and held on the first Saturday through October, the community event brings together farmers, artisans, young entrepreneurs, etc. in a convenient location and is held rain or shine.

First Saturday is a great way to spend time outdoors, meet the vendors and catch up with friends — all in a familyand pet-friendly setting.

Vendor registration for May opens April 15 within the calendar event located on the Fayetteville Main Street website and closes when spots are full. Vendor registration, available online only, is $25 per spot or $175 for the season. Vendors are asked to read the updated guidelines prior to registering, available at www. fayettevillemainstreet.com.
