Treva Loraine Colbert, 61, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away surrounded by her loving family Friday, March 17, 2023, at her residence.  

A celebration of life for will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Wiser officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home.

Treva was born on March 3, 1962, in Huntland, Tennessee, to the late James T. Kimbrough and Eloise Ann Pogue Kimbrough. She was a member of the Huntland Baptist Church. Mrs. Colbert enjoyed caring for her house plants, trees, and flower beds. She was well known for decorating her home for all holiday’s, her favorite being Christmas.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, David Colbert; bonus daughters, Candy Colbert and B’Lisa (Jason) Smith; grandchildren, Gracie, Carter and Ty Smith; sister, Deleace (Cleo) Walden; brother, Chad Kimbrough; niece, Brianna Scott; nephew, Evan Scott; and her beloved fur babies, Lucy and Lacy. In addition to her parents, Treva was preceded in death by her bonus son, Joseph Chance Colbert.
