Peggy Bond Hensley, 92, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, at her residence.

She was born in London, England on April 9, 1931, to the late George Stewart and Elizabeth Reese Bond. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Dale Robert. Mrs. Hensley worked in food service for the Dade County Board of Education and was a member of Hope Assembly.

Mrs. Hensley is survived by her husband of 67 years, George Hensley of Fayetteville; three sons, Paul Wayne (Debbie) Hensley of Waynesville, North Carolina, Glenn Brian (Lori) Hensley of Chesnee, South Carolina and Dale “D.J.” (Sara) Robert Jr. of Rogersville, Alabama; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at Hope Assembly Church with Pastor Kenny McNatt and Paul Hensley officiating. Burial followed in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Shelbyville, Tennessee.
