Dickey Ray Moore, 76, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital.

He was born in Madison County, Alabama, on Nov. 21, 1947, son of the late Lawrence Clemons and Clara Mae Campbell Moore. He was retired from Dunlop and was a member of the Holiness Church of God.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Josie Sisk and Judy Young, and brothers, Johnny Ray Moore, J.T. Moore, Carl Moore and Clemons Moore.

Mr. Moore is survived by wife, Sandra Moore; daughters, Catina (Stephen) Young, Trena (Timmy) Grubbs; step-daughter, Nickie (Grant) Luker; step-son, Derrick (Ashley) Lankford; sisters, Barbara (Don) Bland, Carolyn (Dennis) Smith, Imojean Jones Marshall and Barbara Gail Moore; brother, Sonny (Patricia) Moore; four grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; one step-great grandchild; and many special bonus nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Moore officiating. Burial will follow in New Sharon Cemetery.
