Betty Anne Sanders, 91, of Fayetteville, Tennessee passed away June 16, 2024.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Hovis and Bro. Jerry Reynolds officiating. Burial followed in Shiloh Cemetery.

Mrs. Sanders was born May 18, 1933, in Moore County, Tennessee, to the late Auburn Dennis and Ola Louise Smith Simpson. She worked in banking for more than 50 years and was vice-president as well as branch manager with Lincoln County Bank. Betty enjoyed sewing and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane Wilson and husband Dwight of Boonshill; granddaughters, Anna Hovis and husband Scott of Fayetteville and Laura Nelson and husband Nathan of Pulaski; and great-grandchildren, Sarah Kate Hovis, Aleah Hovis, Oakley Hovis, Adalee Nelson, and Charlie Nelson; and dear friend, Margaret Ellis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dean Sanders; a daughter, Nancy Jane Sanders; and her siblings.
