George Ricky Hopkins, 68, of Flintville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on March 16, 1956, son of the late William Hathie Hopkins and Elizabeth Jemella Quick Hopkins. Mr. Hopkins worked as a painter.

In addition to his parents, Ricky is preceded in death by his wife, Marian Hopkins, and his brother, Billy Hopkins.

Mr. Hopkins is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Chad) Clevenger; son, Ryan Hopkins; grandchildren, Evan Hamlin, Blair Hamlin and Bryn Clevenger; sisters, Agnes Stafford, Rita Oser, Juanita Stafford, Mildred Woods, Mamie Everett, Patsy Shockley, Kay McDonald and Fay Fisher; and brothers, Alex Hopkins, Howard Hopkins and Donnie Hopkins.

A celebration of life was held Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery at a later date.
