Willie Neese (Duke) Dangerfield Obituary

Willie Neese (Duke) Dangerfield was born on Dec. 12, 1949, in Lincoln County Tennessee, to the parents of the late Herbert Dangerfield and the late Gertrude Harper Dangerfield. He departed this life on March 16, 2025. He was a man who loved his family and provided for them with his many years of service at Goodman Manufacturing in Fayetteville, Tennessee.

“Duke,” as he was affectionately known, and his wife Dora Dangerfield were married for 42 years. Their home was always filled with children and love.

Duke was a member of Jehovah Witness in Fayetteville, Tennessee. 

Siblings that proceeded him in death were Joe Lewis Dangerfield, John Dangerfield, Marie Edmiston, Herbert L. Dangerfield, Eugene Dangerfield, and James “Jake” Dangerfield.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Dora Dangerfield of Fayetteville; seven children, Jonathan Dangerfield, Tammie Dangerfield, Teresa Eakins, Myron Edmiston, Raivon Dangerfield-Sisk, Bridgett Dangerfield, and Karen Dangerfield; three siblings, Josie M. Young, Clarence E. Dangerfield, and Bessie (Johnny) Bean; three sisters-in-law, Barbara (James) Gregory, LaRita (Arthur) Pitts, and Ronette Thompson; brother-in-law, Cedric Eakins; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Devoted friends are Randy (Jane) Groce and family. All services were held at Grace Memorial Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Tennessee, at 615 Maple Street West. Internment was at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Fayetteville, Tennessee.
