Jimmy Lee Reed

May 27, 1942- July 24, 2025

Jim passed peacefully from this life with his loving wife Geraldine of 52 years by his side.

Preceded in death by his parents Luke Lee and Elizabeth (Davenport) Reed.

Leaving a lifetime of memories and stories to his children, Scott Reed, Stuart (Adelle) Reed, Judy Rose, and Willis (Charlotte) Rose; grandchildren, Alicia Reed McElroy, Ryan Reed, Luke (Alba) Reed, Ausitn Reed, Kelli (Rook) Elgie, Shelby (Wesley) Garner, Connor (Allie) Reed; and great-grandchildren, Blaine Reed, Braden Reed, Brevan Reed, Maria McElroy, Olivia McElroy, Hagen Elgie, Caroline Reed and William Reed.

Mr. Reed chose to donate his body to Vanderbilt University to aid in teaching young doctors’ vital skills, providing a noble service to our future healthcare system.

No public funeral or memorial services will be scheduled.
