Gary Lewis Nunley, 57, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Lynchburg Nursing Center. He was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on Dec. 14, 1967, to the late Lewis Dred Nunley and Rowetta Nunley, who survives.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Loretta Lynn Ragsdale.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Nunley is survived by his daughter, Tabitha Dawn Nunley; one grandchild; aunts, Melvina (Mike) Anderson and Wanda Mooney; uncles, Tony (Linda) Martin, Hugh D. Martin and Alvin Martin; nephew, Cody (Heather) Ragsdale; and great-nephew, Lewis Paul Ragsdale.

Funeral services for Mr. Nunley were held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Randall Martin officiating. Burial followed in Bostick Cemetery.
