Jennetta Ann Kelsey Obituary

Jennetta Ann Kelsey, 85, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, at Lincoln Health in Fayetteville, Tennessee. She was a native of Lawrence County, Tennessee, a homemaker, a member of the Historical Society and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved researching genealogy, loved music and was a music director at church. Her most enjoyable hobby was playing board games with her grandchildren. She also greatly loved all the animals she had over the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dalton Edward and Mable Ethel Kilburn Stevenson; one son, Jeffrey Carl Kelsey; two sisters, Norma Jean Hooper and Judy Keeton; and one brother, Wayne Stevenson.

She is survived by her husband, Vernon Carl Kelsey of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; two daughters, Carla Ann Thompson (Sean) of Fayetteville, Tennessee, and Valinda Puckett (Mike) of Antioch, Tennessee; one son, Michael Kelsey (Jamie) of Fayetteville, Tennessee; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one on the way; 11 nieces and nephews; and her beloved fur babies.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Funeral services were conducted at Neal Funeral Home on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, with Bishop Ryan Custer officiating. Interment followed at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
