A memorial visitation remembering the life of Vincent Giles Thompson, 75, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at Higgins Funeral Home.

Vince was born on April 24, 1950, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Joseph Steven Thompson and Grace Dewier Thompson. He served in the US Army. Mr. Thompson enjoyed woodworking and target shooting. He passed away on Sept. 20, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Survivors include his sons, Joe (Aubrey) Thompson, and Dennis (Heather) Thompson, both of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Emma Jane Thompson, Molley Lynn Thompson, Annie Beth Thompson, Luke McCall Thompson, Bristol Lynn Thompson, and Harlow Maelee Thompson; and his siblings, Michelle Thompson, Gabrielle Thompson, Marie Thompson, and Daniel Thompson. In addition to his parents, Vince was preceded in death by his wife, Kathie Lynn McCall Thompson.
