Lincoln County Tennis begins postseason

Lincoln County High School’s Chloe Gibson won the district singles championship last week and is pictured here with Coach Jonathan Brown. Gibson secured the title by defeating Shelbyville’s top player, 6-3, 6-2, and was also named District Player of the Year. Coach Brown, a former Falcon Tennis standout, is in his 18th year as head coach of the LCHS tennis program. The victory advances Gibson to the individual Region Tournament at home on Friday, with opponent and time yet to be determined.
