Lincoln County Tennis enjoys 5-0 week

Isaiah Mares of Lincoln County High School made a strong play at the net in the Falcons’ 5-2 win over Tullahoma on Thursday. Earlier in the week, the Falcons won on the road over Columbia by forfeit, and on Wednesday, LCHS took a makeup match against Coffee County, winning 5-2. This week, the Falcons host Warren County on Monday, travel to Coffee County on Tuesday, and host Marshall County on Thursday. Lincoln County tennis handled business last week. The Falcons and Lady Falcons won all five of their combined matches.

The Lady Falcons were dominant 3-0, beating Columbia, 6-1, and both Coffee County and Tullahoma, 7-0. The Falcons also enjoyed victories over Coffee County and Tullahoma, both by scores of 5-2.

This week sees five game days in six days on tap for Lincoln County. They’ll play traditional matches against Warren County, Franklin County and Marshall County, and then travel to Murfreesboro for a weekend tournament at Oakland.
