Lady Falcon Softball picks up district win against Coffee County

Lincoln County softball picked up a massive district win last week. The Lady Falcons went on the road to beat Coffee County, 5-0.

Lincoln County sprinkled their runs throughout the course of the night. They scored a run in both the second and third innings, and scored their final three runs in the fifth and sixth.

The Lady Falcons were led offensively by Hana Corder and Elizabeth Lyon, both recording three hits each and combining to drive in three runs.

Brenna Edwards pitched all seven innings for Lincoln County. She logged a career high 14 strikeouts and allowed only six base runners all game.

The win puts the Lady Falcons in the driver’s seat of 4A District 9. District play continues this week with a road trip to Shelbyville.
