Wade Towry Obituary

Wade Towry, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and friend, passed away peacefully on Jan. 13, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on Feb. 16, 1945, in Fayetteville, Tennessee, Wade was the loving son of Ollie Victoria (Williams) Towry and Tillman Newton Towry. His life was defined by quiet strength, unwavering kindness, and a deep love for those around him.

Wade was a devoted and steadfast husband, sharing 43 beautiful years of marriage with the love of his life, Connie Towry. Together, they built a home rooted in faith, loyalty, and unconditional love.

As a father, Wade led by example, offering guidance, wisdom, and gentle support. He was always present — listening, reassuring, and putting his family first.

He was a mentor to many and a trusted friend to all.

Wade’s calm spirit, warm heart, and selfless nature left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

His life was a testament to compassion, humility, and grace.

Wade was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved granddaughter, Alyssa Ludovice; his 13 cherished siblings, Orville Towry, Evelyne Towry, Lorene Childress, Wilford Towry, Thomas Towry, Marie Roland, Cletus Towry, Garner Towry, Dallas Towry, Virgil Towry, Peggy Phillips, Carolyn Miles, and Clyde “Red” Towry; and his son-in-law, Chris Ludovice.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Connie Towry; his loving children, Cherri Ludovice (the late Chris), Richard Wade Towry, Karla Guccione (John), Abraham Bentancourth, and Danielle Haro (Ociel); and his treasured grandchildren, Rachel Cooper (Winfrid), Imari Guccione, Giancarlo Guccione, London Haro, and Sebastian Haro.

Wade’s legacy lives on through the love he shared and the lives he touched.
