Neva Gail Jean Obituary
Neva Gail Jean, 75, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Toney, Alabama, on Jan. 15, 1950, to the late Jimmy Harrett and Trucie Neva Tanner Travis. Mrs. Jean worked at Regions Bank and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James Vernon Travis; sister, Violet Almenta Travis Crowson; and great-grandson, Emmett Means.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Lawrence Jean; daughter, Alicia Jean (Joe) Summarell; son, Travis (Tricia) Jean; grandchildren, McKenlee Jean, Ashlee Jean, Brittany Whorley (Garet) Gordon and Janna Whorley (Zach) Means; great-grandchildren, Mason Means, Wyatt Means, Scarlett Means and Knox Gordon; and sisters, Mary Jo Travis Ables Crim and Ida Mae Travis Riddle Green.
Graveside services were conducted on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, in Riverview Memorial Gardens with Brittany Gordon officiating and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge.
