William “Bill” Anthony Wood Jr., 55, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Coffee County, Tennessee, on June 24, 1970, son of the late William “Bill” Anthony Wood Sr. and Tina Crosslin Wood, who survives. Mr. Wood was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, worked as a security officer for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Wood is survived by his wife, Christy Silvey Wood; daughter, Kylee Wood; granddaughter, Avery Wood; stepchildren, Aaron Blaser and Austin Blaser; step-grandchildren, Landon Reavis, Aiden Blaser, Harper Blaser, Rylee Blaser and Raegan Blaser; and brother, Randall “Randy” Lee Wood.

Funeral Services were held on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Caldwell officiating. Burial followed in Lincoln Cemetery.
