It is with regret we announce the passing of Mr. John Cullen Holcomb, 86, of Fayetteville, Tennessee. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, at Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Vann officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service.

Mr. Holcomb was born Oct. 3, 1938, in Torrington, Connecticut, to the late William H. Holcomb and Jean Hampton Ramsey. He worked for many years in construction and retired as director of Fayetteville Water and Sewer System. He was a member of the Fayetteville United Methodist Church. John passed away Oct. 2, 2025.

Survivors include his wife, Amy Beth Johnson Holcomb; sons, Kyle Matthew Holcomb and wife Beth of Ashburn, Virginia, and Bryan Kelly Holcomb and wife Lorie of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Butler Ramsey.
