Charles Edward Poarch Obituary
Charles Edward Poarch, 81, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, at Elk River Health and Nursing Home. He was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee, on Oct. 3, 1943, son of the late Garland Levi and Ethel Holley Poarch. Mr. Poarch loved to play the guitar and was a member of the Holiness Church of God.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda Poarch; second wife, Patricia Poarch; step-sons, James McCoy and David McCoy; sisters, Mary Frame, Joan Leatherwood and Sue Hobbs; and brothers, James Poarch and Bill Poarch.
Mr. Poarch is survived by his stepchildren, Tammy (Ralph) Brown, Melvin McCoy, Glen (Sallyann) Clements, Terri (Rick) Lamon, Vicki (Paul) McMillin and Kim (Chris) Davis; sisters, Cleta Jean Sheehan, Janice (Danny) Gentry and Linda Wilcox; and many nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, in the chapel of Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with the Rev. Sonny Moore officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Grove Cemetery
